
Composer, Seolae Hwang
Composer Seolae Hwang is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Composition at Texas Tech University, where she also serves as a Graduate Part-Time Instructor, teaching composition and a lecture course Introduction to Music Technology. In addition, she contributes to media production, providing expertise in music recording, mixing, and mastering.
Her compositional work spans a diverse range of genres, from instrumental music to fixed media and sound effects.
As a composer, she focuses on capturing moments, emotions, and atmospheres through instrumental sonorities. Her work aims to expand the expressive potential of instruments and musical forms, creating soundscapes that are both innovative and rooted in classical traditions. Resonating across cultures, her music has been performed in the United States, Spain, Italy and Australia.
